We are an enthusiastic unit always looking to try new things whilst having fun. The girls help to develop the programme of activities and are sometimes responsible for running activities in small groups.
We had a great time on guide camp this summer at Ferny Crofts where we took part in lots of team challenges some up high and some on the ground, we cooked our breakfast each day and had a day trip to Lymington where some girls made their promises on Giant Inflatables whilst trying not to fall into the water. Guide camp is a great time to kick back relax and get to know each other even better.
Recently we have also been to PGL, Foxlease for both Summer and Winter camps and the Big Gig which is a concert just for Guides, the headline was The Vamps and they were amazing. During the summer term, we went paddle boarding and kayaking in Poole Harbour completed our water safety badge and celebrated some more unusual festivals such as Sticky Bun day.
We have started to work on the new programme which we are really enjoying, the race is on to see who gets the GOLD award first.
We meet on Wednesdays.
