Brownies and Guides love to go to PGL in Osmington Bay for a weekend that is full of adventurous activities.
On 22 February, Girl Guides and Girl Scouts across the world think of each other and of their commitment to friendship. The division or the district organises the events to get everyone involved in the activities.
Every year, Guides and Rangers have the experience of camping out in the tents for a week. During the day, they do a lot of activities provided or they go out for the day. We have had our summer camps either at Berwick St James in Wiltshire, Buddens Scout Centre in Dorset, and Foxlease. In 2018 Guides and Rangers went Ferny Crofts.
Every year, there is a food competition for guides in each division to come up with the best presentation and the best taste of their dish to win the rosebowl trophy. We have won a few times in the past. This year, we want to win!
Every year on the 11th November, we have a Remembrance Parade on Sunday to remember the members who gave their lives after World War I that we might have life in West Moors.
