1st Three Legged Cross Brownies

We are a friendly unit based in West Moors Guide Hall. The girls come from lots of different schools around the Three Legged Cross area, including West Moors, Ferndown, and Verwood, so they love to chat as it is the only time they see each other!

Each term we ask the girls what they would like to do, so the termly programme is based on their ideas and what they would like to do to have fun and learn.

We get involved in activities in the Division (meeting all units in Ferndown, Longham, St Leonards, Verwood, and Alderholt), the latest was a trip to Marwell Zoo and we had a great time at PGL in the summer.

Every Easter we have an egg rolling competition which always a hotly anticipated event; the winning Brownie keeps the trophy for the year.

We have recently completed our out and about badge where we learned how to read maps and have started to work on the new Brownie programme. In the summer we went on some activity walks and paddleboarding and kayaking in Poole Harbour. We have also been on Brownie Holiday to Horton Village Hall where we escaped to a South Sea Island and all had fun at the Luau.

When are our meetings?

We meet every Tuesday at West Moors Guide Hall.

I promise that I will do my best, to be true to myself and develop my beliefs, to serve the Queen and my community, to help other people and to keep the Brownie Guide Law.
